February 20, 2017

I've had a good week!! I've been working my butt off this week. Ya que I have little time here. I want to make the most of it. It's most probable that I leave this next week to a different part of the mission. We'll see where the Lord sends me!! Hopefully to a new place that I don't know yet. I would like that. We had intercambios with the assistants. They started asking us all the questions to see who could be leaders in the mission and all that. I'm kind of used to it already so I already know what to expect jaajja. They are way cool and they work a ton.

It's way hot in Mendoza in comparison to Tupungato.... it's like Payson and Phoenix difference jaja. but oh well. I'm still in Tupungato so I'm happy :) for this week at least.... Let's see what else happened in the last week.. We have 3 investigators with baptismal dates in the next month and they are sure baptisms. They all are golden investigators that do everything that we leave them. One of the investigators is close to 1 Nephi 5 and goes reading everyday. So we are doing good with them ajjaja. I just don't know if I'll be here to see the success. But, oh well. There are those who plant and those who harvest. I seem to be the planter ;) jajajaj.

Tupungato is awesome. We have an activity this week. My last one here. Mas probably. Got to hit the ground running. Time to work work work. It's been a fun week and it's time to have another one.

So what experiences have you all had this week?? I was reading in Alma 34 and it reminded me of 2 talks of Elder Bednar. It was very interesting to see them in the scriptures. You can read the talks if you want they are ask with faith (alma 34:28) and Receive the spirit (alma 34:38) I invite you all to read it!! They are very mind changing. They have given me a broader perspective on my job as a son of God and what I have to DO. Not only what God does for me. So you should read them this week and let me know what you thought of them!

love you guys a ton and hope you have a great week!! keep safe!!

Con amor,

Elder Hakes
